I want to number the pages starting at page 1, which will actually be page 3 of the document - the real page 1 is the title page and 2 is the table of contents. The help (which is as usual crap) talks about something called a Section Break, but that doesn't seem to do much. Anyone know how to get this to work?

Yes, but they'd have to try really hard.

(I'll confess, I'd actually love it if they made it even worse, because it would improve my chances of getting employment around here the next time I'm looking for full time work.)

If you need to figure else anything out, let me know. My Word skills are scary, on account of using it for years in ways it wasn't actually designed to be used over at it's Place of Origin. (Working on UE over there involves far more Word than is really a good idea for any one person's sanity.)

I think I'm more or less OK now. Decided to go with the title and the top and page number at the bottom, both centred and starting with page "1" which is actually page 3; not exactly exciting, but I think it'll do.
