What fanfic were you reading / writing in these decades (fandoms, favourite ships etc.) and links to stories if possible please?

1. 1960s
2. 70s
3. 80s
4. 80s
5. 90s
6. 90s
7. 2000s
8. Nowish

For example, I know Professionals and Blake's 7 were big in the UK in the 1970s-80s, but I wouldn't know where to look for examples of period writing.

You're more than welcome!

There are 6 of my Professionals 'circuit' stories from 1983/4 up on AO3 (http://archiveofourown.org/users/inamac/works?fandom_id=1673). You should find others on the online archive (http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/) depending on whether the authors allowed publication online - these were originally photocopied by the authors and circulated to a very limited fan group as they are mostly slash).

And four Blakes'Seven stories from 1979/80 (http://archiveofourown.org/users/inamac/works?fandom_id=7109), the earliest of which, Neither Love Nor Money (http://archiveofourown.org/users/inamac/works?fandom_id=7109) was written pre- Series 3 (we didn't have the luxury of closed canon in those days.)

I wrote a number of odd fandoms for the Enigma multi-fandom zine in the 80s/90s, of which I think the only one online is the Sherlock Holmes 'Addleton Atrocity (on AO3). I should get some more up.

There are two V send-up stories published in 1990 'Poisoners and Prawns' and 'The Milton Keynes Confusion' which I have yet to scan.
There's also the Ace of Wands Hellbane (http://archiveofourown.org/chapters/108670#work_endnotes) which is based on a 1970s series, set in 1988, was written in 1990, published in 1994 and uploaded in 2010 - just to add to the confusion!
