Pickspam - Swans, Seagulls and Ducks, and canal repairs

Walked past the Round Pond a few days ago, still lots of swans there, presumably because of the warm weather. A few photos:

A duck with an attitude problem - "You looking at me? Stitch this, Jimmy!" - exactly the expression I imagine when I think of Pratchett's Nac Mac Feegles...



And a small child who was enjoying herself with all the birds and was greatly offended when her parents snatched her up as the swan got a bit closer.





And ongoing repairs to one of the locks on the canal near Kentish Town earlier this week.

Her parents snatched her up sharpish when the swan got a bit closer - personally, I would have been more worried about getting salmonella from the closer birds.
