Calculator guy's claim has been resolved in my favour on the grounds that I "described it adequately"; they say nothing about his claim that I sent something completely different, which I suspect means that they either didn't understand his claim (I don't think he actually entered any details apart from ticking the "not as described" box) or don't believe him. Very relieved anyway.

I expect he will send me more emails calling me a crook, but since I know I'm not it really doesn't bother me much.

People like that are so horrid. It's good that you held firm. I'm taking a standardized test, and we must use the virtual calculator app on the test pc. The last time, the monitor even checked our eye glasses for "smart" capability.

That's going to get very interesting as wearable and implanted computers become more common and easier to conceal.

And eBay doesn't need more delusional customers, so if he flounces off, the place will be improved.

Glad to hear it. eBay had a bad reputation at one point for always believing the buyer.

I suspect he's tried it on before.
