The only way I've been able to see the ludicrous Harry Potter wizarding world as making any sense at all is to treat it as part of your 'Diana: Warrior Princess' universe. I'm not familiar with 'Transmetropolitan' but from a quick Google I'd say that your idea would fit almost equally well.
