...Does anyone think that the Death Eaters WOULDN'T loot Wizarding Britain's treasury as soon as they got control? Would letting them do it be one of the ways Voldemort got so many people on board with his plans?

This is going to be one of the consequences of their rule in my HP/Wonder Woman story unless someone can come up with a very good reason why not, bearing in mind that Voldemort appears to have little or no idea of how to run a government beyond terrorism and eradicating his enemies.

Drokk, citizen, it doesn't feel that long since the license for this setting was last sold, but apparently it expires fairly soon and the current franchisee will be discontinuing the system. Lots of stuff for RPGs based on the 2000 AD strips Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog and Rogue Trooper - as usual they haven't been able to franchise Halo Jones, which is a shame because I'd love to see what could be done with that setting, but never mind.

Worlds of 2000 AD )

I haven't had time to take a detailed look yet, but my impression is a nicely presented system with good artwork (not surprising since it comes from the comics) and a decent attempt to cover the material properly, although it does seem to concentrate on the early years of these series. I'm not a huge fan of the WOIN system since it tends to emphasise combat over characterization, but given the source material that's probably inevitable - previous attempts have been similarly combat-heavy. If you like the comics it's well worth a look, who knows when the license will be granted again?
