May. 4th, 2006 12:12 amJust signed up for Continuum, the biannual three-day games con at Leicester university at the end of July. It's a fun con with an emphasis on Runquest / Glorantha / Call of Cthulhu and a lot of freeform games - I've always had a really good time, and I'm looking forward to more of the same.
Vaguely thinking that it's about the right time to launch Flatland as a stand-alone game if I can get my act together in time.
See http://www.continuum.uk.net/ for details of the con. Hope I'll see some of you there.

Date: 2006-05-04 12:13 am (UTC)I've not been to the Cambridge show as yet. I think I should give that one a try next time round.
The problem with working at a games store is that pretty much all the conventions you go to are on business and it tends to stop you (well me anyway) from going to them on recreation time.
I can't recall the last time I played an RPG at a convention and I know the last game I played was a playtest version of the Paranoia Card Game when I was at Conpulsion in Edinburgh last year. Before that it was probably a Vampire Boardgame when GenCon was still at Camber Sands!!!
