A joyous event
Nov. 17th, 2006 07:34 pmGot home to find the latest batch of corn snake eggs hatching - so far one is out of the shell, the others are still in their eggs. So in the next few days I need to get eight boxes with a hiding place, water source etc. sorted out.
Did I know this was coming? Yes, of course I did. They've been in the incubator for the last two months.
Did I remember to organise the bits and pieces I need for this - film cans, bits of sponge for the water, etc.? No, of course I didn't.
So tomorrow will begin with a quick sprint round to the camera shop to get film cans, the pound shop to get some plastic boxes, etc. etc.
Not a problem - but I'm annoyed with myself for forgetting.

Date: 2006-11-17 09:19 pm (UTC)What are corn snakes like as pets? -
Would they be suitable for a 11 year old?
How hard are they to look after?
Any other tips?
