Is The Master an Evil Overlord?
Jun. 29th, 2007 11:01 amJust trying to think - has The Master broken any of the Evil Overlord rules yet in this incarnation? I really can't think of any so far.

20: Despite its proven stress-relieving effect, I will not indulge in maniacal laughter. When so occupied, it's too easy to miss unexpected developments that a more attentive individual could adjust to accordingly.
-- He was so busy engaging in maniacal laughing that he didn't properly secure his prisoners, allowing Martha to get away.
I expect that #41 is going to be a problem for him: Once my power is secure, I will destroy all those pesky time-travel devices.
42: When I capture the hero, I will make sure I also get his dog, monkey, ferret, or whatever sickeningly cute little animal capable of untying ropes and filching keys happens to follow him around.
-- When dealing with the Doctor, that one really should be extended to cover his companions.
54 may be a problem: I will not strike a bargain with a demonic being then attempt to double-cross it simply because I feel like being contrary.
-- whatever those ball things really are, I suspect that the Master is planning some sort of double-cross in their future.
He has learned #35 though: I will not grow a goatee. In the old days they made you look diabolic. Now they just make you look like a disaffected member of Generation X.
