Joining a network in SUSE linux.

The Shiny(ish) is now connected to my wireless network but while the web browser works I can't access the printer or network file server - there doesn't seem to be any way to enter the network name etc., which I would have thought was a first step.

Anyone know where I should be looking?

Hostname gives me "shiny-ish" which is the name I've given to the computer. Ifconfig comes up with a "file not found" error.

/sbin/ifconfig
vi /var/log/messages and look for network stuff
NFS/Samba?

Run System/YaST and visit network bit

I found YAST and entered the network name, but I'm still not seeing anything outside the laptop, can't mount servers, etc.

I'm going to have to quit for tonight - VERY busy day tomorrow, I need my beauty sleep.
