Right then...

1: The beer at Cleopatra's court tastes like camel-piss; after the first taste Methos spits it out. It takes him nearly a month of intolerable sobriety to persuade her to let him take over as royal brewer, and another to produce beer that meets his exacting standards. She hates it, and yet again he has to fake his own death to get away from an angry woman.

2: Dublin 1859, the centenary of the opening of the Guinness brewery. He's already had eighteen free pints when they get out the really good stuff, and even an immortal can't face another. It's a disaster he'll long remember.

3: After MacLeod kills Byron. The man was mad, but it's still a tragedy. He's in no mood to celebrate.

4: When he hears that Ramirez is dead he turns down his usual beer, and drinks wine in his memory.

5: The night Alexa Bond dies. He thinks about getting very very drunk, but doesn't have the heart for it.
