Question for role players...

If you are members of the crew of a spaceship, about to set off on a very short flight, and you're approached by an elderly Buddhist monk who wants to hitch a ride to your next port of call, what's your reaction? Assume that his presence aboard won't cause any problems re supplies etc.

I wonder how many pick up hitchhikers in the real world?

It's very much the characters, I think - but remember we are typically talking groups of four or five heavily armed people, who may regard one hitchhiker as less of a threat.
