Russell T. Davies promises a "massive, shattering climax to the whole thing" in the finale

Which will be no surprise because it will be telegraphed for several episodes before the 3-part 'finale', which will probably involve a deus ex machina cop-out or a wind-back. Hasn't he learned yet that he is no good at endings?

Good point, I don't know. I don't know if he listens to anyone apart from his fans.

I might watch it just to see how big the train wreck is. But it's in the summer anyway, so a slack time as far as the rest of my viewing is concerned.

According to him, the *last* people he listens to are his fans. =:o\ Which is a shame, because plenty of his fans have been trying to tell him for the last 6 years that "Rusty, dear, you're great at characters, but lousy at plot mechanics."
