Aug. 17th, 2004 12:50 amAnother illustration of the Kobold tunnelling machine (for Forgotten Futures 9) mentioned in a previous post. Minor spoilers - don't read on if you might be playing in one of my adventures:
This one shows it on a railway wagon and makes it clear that it has treads - that it's a tunnelling machine rather than a really weird submarine. This isn't going to be known at the start of the adventure, of course, and the adventurers will have to work pretty hard to learn this much.

This looks a little phoney, and I may mess with it a little more. Also needs some troops guarding it. Comments please...
Update 17/8/04: Now messed with, troops added, etc.

Date: 2004-08-16 11:48 pm (UTC)Without wanting to say much about the adventure, it isn't quite up to spec in some respects. One of the goals of the adventurers will be to find out what it can really do...

Finally, the sizes of the men in front and those to the left don't match up (and the lighting for the front guys again).

The two soldiers to the left also could use a little pool of added shadow at their feet.
(I actually refer to the updated picture in your other post for these additional suggestions. It's the one I have open right now in another browser tab.)
